Freestyle Sessions
Skating on freestyle ice is a wonderful way to practice and accomplish your skating goals. Freestyle Sessions are practice sessions for skaters in training.
Private and semi-private lessons may be arranged with any of our coaches and are recommend for first time freestyle skaters.
What is a freestyle session?
A Freestyle session is session during which skaters can practice their skills, develop their routines, prepare for tests, and engage in private lessons. Freestyle sessions are different from public sessions.
How to register?
Use the links below to view our freestyle session calendar as well as the registration links.
To register for one or more skating sessions simply find the relevant sessions in the Freestyle Registration Links section and select 'Register' next to the desired session(s). Follow the prompts to add a session registration to your cart. If you'd like to add more than one session at a time, once you've added one session to your cart select 'Keep Shopping' and it will return you to the main session list and you may add additional sessions. Once you've added all desired sessions continue to Checkout to complete your registrations. Please be sure to complete registration all the way through to payment or your spot will NOT be registered.
Freestyle Etiquette Guidelines
If interested in skating Freestyle Sessions, please read the following policies.

When skating a freestyle session, skaters are agreeing to these guidelines:

Please respect the property of the rink and others.

Skaters are required to check in with the Arena Box Office before stepping on the ice.

Skaters are required to have their own skates.

No breakable containers are allowed rink side.

Please remove all personal belongings (tissue, water bottles, gloves, sweaters, etc.) before leaving the ice.

No stopping or standing on the ice, except against the railing.

Lessons are only taught by Snoopy's Home Ice Coaches.

Coaching by Guest Coaches must be arranged through the Skating Director.

Coaching by parents/guardians is not allowed. The hockey boxes are to be used by skaters and coaches only. Parents/guardians, please enjoy watching your skaters progress from the spectator area (orange seating), skate changing benches or the Warm Puppy Cafe and please avoid potentially distracting skaters by not observing from rail.

Earphones and/or two earbuds are prohibited on the ice for safety.

Music guidelines are posted rink side - please review and adhere to these guidelines.

The skater doing a routine to music has the right of way. Colorful belts are provided to help identify the skater whose music is being played.

If you are a less experienced skater please be extra careful to stay aware of other skaters and to look ahead of where you are skating to see what others are doing or about to do. If you are an experienced skater, please be patient with the less experienced skaters.

Appropriate behavior and language are expected at all times.

Skaters are asked to quickly leave the ice when the Zamboni driver honks the horn.

Dress in attire that is appropriate for skating. Warm, fitted clothing is preferred. If wearing a "hoodie" please keep hood unused.

With many different people, personalities, experience and skill levels coming together to participate in the fast-paced risky nature of skating, it is essential to be mindful and respectful of one another. Unintentional accidents, simple misunderstandings, and miscommunication will arise. Coaches, please lead by example. Skaters, please show sportsmanship and respect.
